Here it is....

Here it is...only 21 days until our 1st club meeting.  Are you ready?  I am!!!  I have a couple of questions for you.

  1. What type of sentimate would you like on your cards?  Is a friend having a birthday?  Do you need a thank you card?
  2. I'm thinking lets do a Christmas card and maybe autumn cards.  What are your thoughts?
  3. Is there a particular technique that you would like try?  How about faux leather, what about crayon resist?  Any ideas?
  4. Last year, I gave projects to a few people.  Those clubbers were suppose to bring back the projects to show us.  Did you like that idea?
  5. What about you?  Do you have any questions for me?
Feel free to email me and I'll get back with you.  Most of you have my email address!

Wahoo! It's Saturday!

This morning, we went to the park and I played with my beautiful girls play on the playground.  They'll run over to me, I get up, I watch them, I run back to my spot, I get up, I go see their new trick, I sit back down,  I listen to the sweet giggles and wonder, why did God bless me so much.  It's a glorious day!

Since I haven't posted in a while, I really need to show you the back of my car.  Yeah, you're thinking the back of her car.  Well, I had those family stickers... the white ones...you know...daddy, mommy, two girls and a pet.  My head came off.  So, I took all the stickers off and replaced them with Decor Elements from Stampin' Up!  Check out how springy my car looks now!!!!

So you like the new sticker on my window?  You can order the family stickers from Stampin' Up! by contacting me.  There's tons of different decor elements in the ton of the magazine.  It's so hard to decide what to order.  Need something for your walls?  How about the glass screen door?  Check it out.  Just click here!

Just recently, I hosted a techniques swap for some of the ladies at Stampin Addicts.  I chose water color for my technique and had a great time creating!!  Cupcakes are the latest rage in our area, so that's what I chose.  Can you see the glitter?  And, check out how I ruffled the ribbon!

Wrapped inside this cute little package is a sucker.  Is this not the most adorable little thing?  It's so springy that I think it would be sweet for a treat at a little girls birthday party!  Cute, huh??

And lastly, this is a picture of my little girl, Jessica.  Jessica is 7 years old and is one of the blessings that I've received.  I'm so proud of her.  Can you tell what she's doing in the picture below?

Look closely, she's filling out a Stampin' Up! order form.  Yep, my kind've girl alright.  If you look at the catalog, you can see the Sock Monkey set.  That was just one of the stamp sets that she wanted.  See, in our family we kind've like snowmen and sock monkeys.  Weird, I know.  Well, of course I ordered the Sock Money set for her.  How could I refuse a girl after my own heart?

It's been a month!!!

It's been a month since I have posted anything on my blog.  You know, it time I needed away.  Not away from crafts or Stampin' Up!, but time away from my laptop.  Sometmes, I feel so guilty sitting there with my laptop instead of reading to my little girls.  It was time for me to take a little break and concentrate more on them.  Family is important.

From this point on, all my posting will be either on my lunch hour at work or late evenings once my girls are in bed.  Never again will I sit with my laptop on my lap while their waiting for my attention.  Do me a favor, pay attention to your family as well.

Ok, I'm thinking about joining, but first, what comes in that kit?

How do I join?  It's so simple.  Just go to my Stampin' Up! website (click on the pink "my Stampin' Up! website or the "Join my team" picture above) and read about all the wonderful benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  To join, just simply click on the "Join Now" button the left side of the screen.  You'll need to know my password, it's Chipper.  Oh, and if you have any questions for me, just shoot me an email at ellen@volstate.net.  I'll do my very best to answer your question quickly and accurately!

Tins from my clubbers...

You know, each month I hold a stamp club at my house.  During most months, my clubbers will volunteer to take home an object.  That object may be an extra large paper clip, a piece a ribbon, a plain white band-aid tin, etc.  The thing is, next month they are suppose to bring that item back decorated with Stampin' Up! products that they've purchased from me.  It's a really neat way to see their creative personalities shine.  The funny thing is, some of the clubbers that take the project home think they can't do anything creative.  Oh yeah?  Check out these DVD tins!!

This tin above was created by Mary B.  I think she did a great job with her project, don't you?

And this tin was created by Leisa M. who is also one of my downline members.  Leisa did a great job as well, didn't she?

My next stamp club meeting will be on March 14.   Hmmm.... what should kind've project should we do?  Come back and I'll be sure to post!

Sweet Flowers for Sweet Friends

Well, I don't know about you, but I am past ready for spring.  This morning, I heard the birds singing outside and I couldn't help but think about planting some flowers.  I think it's still a little early to plant flowers, but it doesn't stop me from creating some flowers!!!

Inside those test tubes are pastel skittles.  Yummmm....skittles are probably one of my favorite candies.  I sent these sweet flowers to 3 sweet friends that live out of state.  I think they'll enjoy these sweet flowers because they still have snow!!!

I used Daffodile Delight cardstock, whisper white cardstock and Peach Parfait DSP.  The ribbon is Pear Pizazz seam binding.  Aren't those flowers cute??
